Tantaloy compression spring is made of tantaloy "61" metal wire, NRC91 (92.5%/7.5% Ta/W)tantalloy wire, which can provide a lifetime warranteed service, furthermore, our tantalloy springs can meet the Chlorine Institute Standards,  this NRC91 tantalloy springs can fully meet the requirements of gas chlorinators for the water and wastewater(the chlorination for the disinfection of water & wastewater) treatment industry, sometimes, tantalloy springs were replaced by hastelloy C-276 spring(or hastalloy C276 spring) and Hastelloy C-22 alloy spring.
HASTELLOY® C-276 alloy is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium wrought alloy, having excellent resistance to localized corrosion and to both oxidizing and reducing media, HASTELLOY C-276 alloy has excellent resistance to a wide variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidizers such as ferric and cupric chlorides, hot contaminated media (organic and inorganic), chlorine, formic and acetic acids, acetic anhydride, and seawater and brine solutions. It is used in flue gas desulfurization systems because of its excellent resistance to sulfur compounds and chloride ions encounted in most scrubbers. It is also one of the few materials that withstands the corrosive effects of wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide.
